How does it work?

NdYag laser penetrates the skin and the superficial blood vessel, or spider vein. The heat generated by the laser coagulates the blood inside the spider vein, causing it to collapse and seal.

Is it safe?

NdYag laser selectively targets unwanted or abnormal blood vessels in the skin, while minimising damage to the surrounding normal skin structures.

The procedure is non-invasive and feels like a series of quick stings, similar to a rubber band flicking on the skin. A sensation of heat may persist for a few minutes after treatment.

Treatment may take from a few minutes to 30 minutes or more, depending on the size of area to be treated.

How many sessions are required?

A number of sessions may be required, which will be discussed during a consultation prior to treatment.
